HCStorm Parent Newsletter (5-20-22)
PRINCIPAL NEWS…
This week began the celebration of our 5th grade students. It started with the Living Museum and continued with the 5th grade Breakfast, End of the Year Picnic, 5th Grade T-Shirts and will conclude with our HCStorm traditional 5th grade CLAP-out next week. Fifth grade students will walk the halls one last time before exiting the building.
Most of our students have been part of Storm for 6 years. Just recently, one joined us within the past month. We have had many more students join us along the way. No matter when each of them became a Bolt,, they have truly accepted our most recent theme of “YOU BELONG HERE” and formed a cohesive community. I cannot say enough about how impressed and proud I am of our 5th grade class; being role models for our younger students and leaving a positive mark on Storm.
Remember that friends may come and go, but the most consistent thing will continue: be true to yourself and pleased with the actions you have selected. We have four more short days until we say congratulations to our 5th grade promoting class of 2022. You have experienced a tremendous amount of peaks and valleys within your elementary journey, only to persevere through and with the help of all the Storm teachers.Good luck as you continue your educational path and towards becoming young adults. Thank you parents for all of the help and assistance to make the final two weeks special for them.
For those families who will not be returning to H.C. Storm, please know you will always have a home here. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and know that each of your son/daughter(s) will transfer all of their amazing skills they have learned into their new schools and communities. If you will be leaving, please notify the office and please have your child(ren) return their Chromebooks, cases, and power cords to their classroom teachers.
