Ensuring student safety at HCS is a top priority for our staff. Keeping this in mind we ask that all families read and follow the traffic and safety guidelines which have been developed in conjunction with the City of Batavia and the Batavia Police Department. If you have any questions about the guidelines, please call, or e-mail the main office.

Morning Student Drop Off:

Parents dropping students off in the morning should use the circle driveway and drop students off at the sidewalk near the main entrance. Cars should pull as far forward as possible. No one should ever leave their vehicle in the circle drive unattended.

Afternoon Student Pick Up:

Parents picking up students after school should form one single line of cars along the right curb of the driveway. Please yield to the buses using the circle drive, they are trying to stick to their schedules. Please be patient during inclement weather... it may take a little extra time for you to pick up your children.

Parking Lot Note:

The parking lot adjacent to the school is closed to all traffic between 3:30 and 3:45.

We appreciate your cooperation with these safety procedures. For the safety of our students, staff members, and parents, persons who do not follow these guidelines will be reported  to the Batavia Police department.
